The history of a company dates back from the year 1972, when Albert Knoff had established the manufacture of casting press-moulds for automotive industry.
Since the year 1978 our enterprise has mastered the manufacture of new goods – the turning tools with brazed inserts. Thereafter the company had enhanced the manufacturing program with solid high-speed steel (HSS) milling cutters.
During the years 80-90-th of the 20-th century the company acted as the OEM-manufacturer of tools, press-moulds and other goods for world-renowned consortiums.
In the year 2006 Albert Knoff has left the direct management of the company. His son – Christopher Knoff, appointed as the General Manager, has performed the rearrangement of the company’s activities and has upgraded the manufacturing equipment and the personal.
Since the year 2008, upon introduction of a new managing team, the company has started an active development and has expanded the list of manufactured goods.
During the years 2015-2017 the company had established a new Logotype, a new style and had registered a proper Brand Mark.
New multilanguage website begins to work in 2018.
As per the present moment KNOFF Werkzeuge is an engineering and manufacturing enterprise, focused on production of the following goods:
- solid cutting tools from high-speed steel (HSS) and tungsten carbide – milling cutters, drills, reamers, taps and tapping dies, lathe micro-tools;
- the tools with indexable inserts – lathe- , milling- , thread-cutting-, cut-off-, grooving-, drilling inserts and their holders;
- tooling for machine tools;
- press-moulds of different types.
